Held at the Assembly's Conference Hall in Juaso on August 11, 2025, the exercise equipped assembly staff with the technical skills to handle e-memos, manage electronic documents, and use virtual collaboration tools. The initiative marks a critical step forward in the Assembly’s transition toward an efficient, paperless, and secure public administration system.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Asante Akim South, Hon. Maame Sarfoah Appiah, has held a direct field engagement with cocoa farmers at a local community farm. The on-site meeting focused on addressing farming challenges firsthand, including input distribution, farm-to-market road access, and technical extension services. The Municipal Chief Executive assured the farmers that the Assembly is working closely with COCOBOD and local agricultural departments to provide targeted relief and strengthen the municipality's cocoa sector.

The Asante Akim South Municipal Assembly has distributed essential educational materials to over 100 pupils in several schools, including Gyankobaa M/A Primary, Apragya M/A Primary, and Nyarkoma M/A Primary. The Municipal Chief Executive, accompanied by Assembly members, personally handed out items like books and pens, emphasizing the government’s commitment to providing quality education and investing in the youth. The initiative aims to support learning and ease the financial pressure on families.

The Asante Akim South Municipal Assembly has organized a major community clean-up exercise at Yawkwei as part of the National Sanitation Day initiative. Led by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Maame Sarfoah Appiah, alongside Assembly management, local traditional leaders, the Assembly member and Unit Committee members, this event marked the first clean-up exercise organized under her administration.
